Engineers bring ideas to life, from concept to a well-designed final product. That is why the Design Showcase is so important to our “Intro to Engineering Design” students like Varsha Senthil ’22 and Alexis Rodriguez ’21, who teamed up to create their project this fall. Not only did they gain experience in the new Engineering Student Design Center (or “ESDC”), this process taught them to test their ideas and solve problems, and to work collaboratively with their engineering peers.
